El mítico Sylvain Sylvain, guitarrista de los legendarios New York Dolls, estará en Le Bukowski el día 8 de noviembre, en esta ocasión al frente de su propia banda para una gira en solitario. Sylvain “al cuadrado” repasará lo mejor de su discografía al margen de las muñecas, pero a buen seguro que también recuperará algunos de los himnos imperecederos de la banda.

THE NOISE FIGURES

Hailing from Greece, the Athenian duo The Noise Figures make bluesy garage rock. The group was formed in 2012 and consists of George Nikas (vocals, drums) and Stamos Bamparis (guitars, vocals) and stands for its raw sound of fuzz guitars, amps with plenty of spring reverb, dirty overdriven vocals and lyric themes, drawn from experiences on the road, hallucinogens and girls next door.

After having released the "Bitter Taste" single and "Turn Off The Lights" E.P., the band released their debut full length self-titled album via Inner Ear Records in November 2013. "The Noise Figures" L.P. consists of 10 tracks and is a result of an analog tape recording session, which effects a compact retro sound. An ideal soundtrack for escaping the urban boundaries.

The Noise Figures toured all over Greece and shared the stage with bands like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Black Lips, Wooden Shjips, Japandroids, Dead Meadow and many more. Their live performance is a ritual, driven by the spirit of energy and the trans-formative power of playing, as Children of God Silenus. Greek Rockers sacred madness caused by the drinking of wine and fertility generates a quasi-mythical aura tinged by sing-along fuzzy garage-rock n roll tunes full of hazy walls of feedback.
